google-made-it-clear-in-which-part-of-the-page-you-can-add-json-ld-marku

google has released another video in the #AskGoogleWebmasters help series. The topic of the new release is JSON-LD markup. In particular, in which part of the page it can be placed.

The question for google sounded like this:

“Can I add JSON-LD markup to the bottom of the tag instead ? Looks like, that it works well for many sites. “

google employee John Muller replied that yes, this is perfectly acceptable. He also recalled that google supports three markup formats for structured data: RDF, Microdata and JSON-LD. The latter type of markup can also be added to pages through JavaScript.

Recall that for google, the recommended markup format is JSON-LD. So, in the Wizard markup offered by the company, this option is selected by default. google first publicly announced about its preferences in 2016.
